Conclusion
We have reached the end of the Sermon on the Mount, Christ’s instruction manual on how to be His disciples. Through these reflections, we have learned how much Jesus loves us and how, as disciples, He wants us to act. Christ’s love shines through us to the world! Jesus realizes this is not an easy task and has promised to be with us through our journey. We simply have to answer “YES” to Jesus and begin, trusting we will be accompanied by Him every step of the way. This is what being a disciple is all about.
Our journey began by learning the 6 habits of discipleship and exploring the Beatitudes. This year we journeyed through the Sermon on the Mount reflecting on Jesus’ instructions to his Disciples. We look forward to continuing with you in our upcoming series on the stories of the Old Testament!
As we continue on our Discipleship journey, we’d appreciate your feedback on how these weekly reflections are impacting you. If you would be willing to share, please email your response to [email protected] or mail to Kelly Lemens at the Parish Office.
